MBTA offers low fares to everyone, but special discounts are offered as follows: SENIOR CITIZENS: Age 60 and over qualify for discount fares with any valid proof of age. DISABILITY DISCOUNT: Available to anyone displaying an MBTA ADA eligibility card. Call customer service at (760) 366-2395 for more information. CHILDREN: Up to three small children (age 5 or under) may ride free with an adult. All buses are wheelchair lift equipped. 
GENERAL INFORMATION FOOD & DRINKS: To keep our buses clean, open food and drinks are not allowed on the bus. Travel mugs and sippy cups with tight-fitting, secure lids are OK. CARRY-ON ITEMS: Limit carry-ons to the size and number you can easily handle. Assistance is available for senior and persons with disabilities on Ready Ride Service. Limit 6 packages up to 25 lbs each. No flammable or hazardous items. LOST & FOUND: If you lose something on the bus, call customer service (760) 366-2395. Tell us the date and time you lost the item, the route (or Ready Ride) and a complete description of the article. If the item is found, it may be claimed at the MBTA office at 62405 Verbena Rd, Joshua Tree, CA. Office hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Be sure to give us a call if you find something, too. HOURS: MBTA operates Monday through Friday, with limited service on Saturday and Sunday. Hours and days of service vary by Route. HOLIDAYS: MBTA does not operate on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas.
