|A "Fair Fare" for MBTA|
In July, MBTA will raise its fares for the first time since 1999. MBTA works very hard to keep fares low, because we know how important economical transit service is to our riders. But to make sure the bus is there for you, today and in the future, we must increase fares to reflect our increased costs. Click here to show our proposed fare change. If you'd like to comment on the proposed fares, please attend our public hearing, call or write.
Have exact fare or pass ready. The driver carries no change.
